APEB Wellness Center
The APEB Wellness Center: Healing, Mind, Body and Spirit is designed specifically to address the institutional and environmental barriers that block access to medical care. Following the recommendation of a community advisory committee, the APEB Wellness Center provides services that focus on the co-factors that influence the spread of HIV and adherence to treatment regimens. The co-factors include low self-esteem, lack of medical insurance, substance abuse/use, high stress, depression, anxiety, the practice of unsafe sex, and internal/external homophobia.
The APEB Wellness Center addresses these issues through culturally relevant staff and services include individual and Group Counseling by peers and professional staff; Spiritual, Mental Health and Therapeutic Counseling; Acute Care; Physical Examinations; Assessments; Immunizations; Laboratory; Referrals to Case Management; Health Education and HIV/Substance Abuse Harm Reduction strategies.

Monday through Friday 11:00am to 7:00pm
Closed for lunch 12:30pm to 1:30pm
